I am very excited about the new Vision and way forward for the Northern Congregation. Last night again with the Mens leaders meeting I once again were reminded that our leader Pst Frans is a man that loves the Word and is constantly in contact with God and where He wants to take us. With that in mind I know we can only go from strength to strength with God's Grace and Mercy on our side. Blessings Lukas.
I am also SO excited about the direction we are going in. I truly believe that our new framework supporting the home cell infrastructure is going to energise our entire congregation. There is so much talent in our people and if we can harness that for the glory of the Kingdom we will make a HUGE impact on our world.
It’s so wonderful to be part of this family of Maranatha: We are GIVEN so many opportunities to do what God has instructed us to do in His Word: we are GIVEN the opportunity to work with people in our cells, we are GIVEN the opportunity to contribute towards so many worthy causes, we are GIVEN the opportunity to learn both through services on Sundays, specific get-togethers, courses. It’s all being made so easy, we don’t have to go out there and find it! And now Facebook and this blog... Sjoe, what a responsibility… What do you think?
A late comer, you may say. But it feels interesting to post this message on the blog with people who in it to keep the faith fire burning. It does feel a little impersonal though, because I was expecting people to give me a roaring welcome, like YEAH !!!! GOOD TO SEE YOU, WELCOME WHY DIDN'T YOU JOIN EARLIER BLA, BLA, BLA. But them I realised, it's a blog, Praise the Lord. Exciting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just want to share a something from the Word that is uncorruptible, which encouraged me this morning. Psalm 94:18-19
I cried out "I am slipping" but your unfailing love, O Lord supported me. When doubt filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer.
I feel strong today, but someone out there may feel weak, meditate on this verse. His love is unfailing which means it always conquer. If ever you have any doubt, do this, NEVER DOUBT HIM.
